Project 1 - PM's Diary

The below extract is from the Deakin University SRM181 Project Management 1 2009 Trimester 1 Unit Guide:

"You are expected to develop and maintain a log of activities related to this unit. The log or a diary of a Project Manager (PM) normally is a written record of all relevant and significant events, decisions, conversations, etc., related to a project(s).

You are to assume that you undertake and manage concurrently a number of learning projects over the trimester 1/2009, such as: SRM181 unit, SRM181’s assignments/ projects, examination, lectures, tutorials, discussion forums, the PM’s diary, etc.

Ideally you would approach your study of the SRM181 in a very structured, well planned and perfectly executed manner for which you diary could also be used. In addition, the learning environment, learner’s support system and assessment requirements together with the PM's diary will assist you in such systematic
approach and documentation of your study.

In real life you would update you diary on a daily basis or as often as necessary, and also revisit it and reflect on your performance on a regular basis. However, in this unit you are required to submit only five (5) progressive PM’s diary entries."
